Threads ads: ads in Meta's conversation feed, connected to sales
Threads advertising means showing ads between posts in the Threads feed, through the same Meta Ads Manager that runs Facebook and Instagram. It is not a separate ad network but one more placement in an existing campaign. We add it when there is a reason to test it, the AI agent answers everyone the ad brings, and the CRM shows you whether it led to bookings.
Threads in the autonomous sales system
The same system attracts customers from Threads, answers them and sells, and the CRM shows what brought each one.
What Threads advertising includes
A placement inside a Meta campaign
Threads is selected as a placement in Ads Manager, alongside the Instagram feed. Same ad account, same pixel, same budget, and no new advertising account to open.
A feed that starts with text
People open Threads to read and reply. An opening line with a point of view or a question stops the scroll there better than a banner, so we write the copy natively for each language rather than translating it.
Instagram creatives, reused
An image, carousel or video that already works on Instagram can run on Threads with no new production. We check how it looks in the feed and sharpen the text above it.
Results apart from Instagram
A placement breakdown and a source tag on the link show what Threads costs and what it brings, so its results do not disappear into the campaign average.
Enquiries that reach the agent
Threads has no messaging interface a system can answer in, so the ad leads to your site or a landing page. There the AI agent replies at once, in the widget or on WhatsApp.
The right source on every lead
Every click is marked as coming from Threads, and the lead enters the CRM with that source instead of being counted as one more generic Meta enquiry.
A decision based on bookings
At the end of the test period we compare cost per chat and per booking from Threads with Instagram, and recommend scaling, keeping or dropping it. You decide.
Quiet days
On Israeli memorial days we publish nothing and recommend pausing the ads too. In a feed that follows the conversation of the day, an ad running on such a day stands out for the wrong reasons.
How it works
- 1
Free check-up: we see whether you already run a Meta campaign with Instagram, and whether you have a creative that works and is worth trying on Threads.
- 2
We make sure the business Threads profile is connected to its Instagram account, and add a source tag to every link.
- 3
We write copy that suits a conversation feed and set Threads as a placement in an ad set with a test budget you approve.
- 4
The ads run, the AI agent answers everyone who reaches your site or WhatsApp, and every enquiry is saved in the CRM with Threads as its source.
- 5
At the end of the test you get a plain comparison between Threads and Instagram, down to the booking, and decide whether to continue.
When Threads is worth testing, and when not yet
Threads does not replace Facebook and Instagram. It is a placement that is easy to add once the basics work, so we recommend it only in certain cases.
- 1
Worth testing: you have a Meta campaign that brings enquiries and want to reach the same audience in one more place where it spends time.
- 2
Worth testing: your business explains itself well in words, such as consultants, lawyers, coaches, courses and professional services.
- 3
Worth testing: you have an image or video that worked on Instagram and can run it on Threads without a new shoot.
- 4
Not yet: there is no Meta campaign that works yet. First fix the basics on Facebook and Instagram, then add a placement.
- 5
Not yet: the budget is too small to split. In that case it is better to keep it in one placement that has already proven itself.
What we do not promise: that Threads will be cheaper or better than Instagram, or a number of leads in advance. We do not sell Threads as a standalone campaign, and the media budget is paid separately, directly to Meta from your ad account.
How much does it cost?
There is no separate price for Threads: it is part of managing your Meta campaigns, and the price depends on the scope of management and on whether the AI agent already answers for you. The media budget is paid to Meta separately. A short free check-up tells you whether Threads is worth adding, and what managing it will cost.

Frequently asked questions
What is Threads advertising?
Threads advertising means ads that appear between posts in the feed of Threads, Meta's conversation app, marked as sponsored. They are built in Meta Ads Manager, in the same account that runs Facebook and Instagram. In practice it is one more placement in a campaign, not a separate ad platform.
Do I need a separate ad account for Threads?
No. The ads run from your existing Meta ad account, with the same pixel and the same payment method, and show under your business name as it appears on Instagram and Threads.
Can I use the ads already running on Instagram?
In most cases, yes: images, carousels and videos from Instagram can run on Threads too. What is worth checking is the text, because in a feed where people read first, the opening line does more than the picture. So we write copy that works both under an Instagram image and in the Threads feed.
Does the AI agent answer messages inside Threads?
No. Threads has no messaging interface an outside system can answer in, so we do not promise replies inside Threads. The ad leads to your site or a landing page, and the AI agent answers there. Comments on your Threads posts are answered by the AI agent, on its own or after you approve each reply.
Who are Threads ads for?
Businesses that already advertise on Meta and want to test one more place with the same audience, and businesses whose message carries well in words: professional services, consulting, training and courses. If you have not yet found a campaign that works on Facebook and Instagram, we recommend starting there.
How do I know whether Threads brought customers?
Every click from Threads is tagged, and every enquiry enters the CRM with that source. At the end of the test you see how much you spent on Threads, how many chats opened and how many reached a booking, next to the same numbers from Instagram.
Who pays for Threads ads and who approves them?
The media budget is paid directly to Meta from your ad account, and the Threads share is part of the campaign budget. We recommend, and you approve every change to the budget and the ads.
